Join local HR professionals to discuss some hot topics and legal updates. Topics to be discussed include: Religious accommodations – what action should be taken when requested, what is reasonable, and what to do if a request causes an undue hardship. Service animals – what is the difference between a support and service animal? What are an employee’s rights, and what are the employer’s responsibilities? Requirements for addressing unlawful harassment, including new guidance for educators – A basic review of rights, requirements, and a review of updated guidance for educators recently released by the PHRC.
